For low volume picking, needing to purchase a specific hardware device to scan can be cost-prohibitive. If the camera could be used to scan the barcodes when picking / putaway, this would be a great way to introduce businesses to scanning - especially if just scanning for one customer.

latest iOS (18) has this built into text fields
When you touch on the text entry field you will get a little icon that you can touch and it will load the camera to extra the text

Provino would benefit from barcode scanning App, as our warehouse locations are bar coded and stock are coded as well. This would make us more accurate when picking and putting stock away.
Agree. The expense of many sleds for small or low volume scan seems crazy when phone/ipod/ipad all have camera and ability builtin.
