Similar to date created, date delivered, etc... it could be useful to report on consignments' status changes. The one thats come to mind is "In warehouse" when we cross dock stock between our depots and/or when customers deliver to our warehouse.
For some customers, our Transport Planners usually start scheduling deliveries when the stock is marked as "in warehouse". This information can be leveraged to generate DOT reports and to better track stock that isn't recorded via PO's/SO's.
