Multiple new tenants have asked that the date format be changed in Document Templates (rather than the current Database format date).
The issue when new tenants transition from paper based to full digital is that they want to print connotes and run the two systems in parallel. When drivers are having a big shift in process we are trying to make things go a smoothly as possible. A simple date format being read wrong just puts a bad taste in the mouth of an old school driver trying to com to terms with his day to day process of 40 years being tipped on its head.
For all date fields in document templates add the ability to choose the display as
e.g. dd/mm/yy or US MM-DD-YYYY or other combination.
