We have recently begun implementing bin locations within certain warehouse areas. Currently, these bins have been set up as entirely new locations.
While these bin locations are considered "separate" locations, they should still reference a designated parent location, which is currently treated as an independent location in Carton Cloud.
At the moment we have essentially created an "Orpahned" location in the parent location. This could affect the directed putaway functionality when released.
To align with this structure, we will need to deactivate the existing parent location before creating the bin locations. If any changes are required, we will need to reactivate the parent location and deactivate the associated bin locations.
Additionally, there may be instances where bins are removed, reverting the area back to a single-pallet or multi-pallet location.
Not sure if it's best practice to simply just treat every location as a "separate" location.
