When purchase orders arrive, customers don't always provide pallet transfer dockets, in order to capture the inbound pallet numbers we track these through an ad hoc charge field at the end where staff can record pallet numbers.
Each week, our pallet control company must open every purchase order individually to reconcile the transfers, since these entries don’t appear in the bulk charges report as they carry no dollar value and therefore don’t export.
A better solution would be for CartonCloud to offer a dedicated pallet transfer field or report. This would allow pallet movements to be exported in bulk, eliminating the need for manual PO-by-PO checks and removing the need to use false “charges” as a workaround.
