Allow Sliding Scale Charges to charge e.g. one price for the first item, different price for items thereafter

I was attempting to set up a new client with a sliding scale charge for unit of measure. I need to charge $3 for the first unit, and $2 for every unit thereafter. This is not possible with the current sliding scale set up. Can it please be considered?
