BOM is functioning as designed but operationally is cumbersome and confusing.
What has occurred after building a BOM is not apparent (Sale Order Order Creation)
With minor changes the BOM process intuitive.
Proposed:
After Selecting Build BOM
1. Add to Build Page heading "Build into Location: " and Location Search Box
2. Make Reference more easily searchable (Suffix BOM + [Product Code[)
Note: Late addition. 2.1 Also add assembly instructions space and add to pick list
3. After successful build open new page with
a. Export packlist button - (Prints created Sale Order pack list WITH modification as per below 4.
b. Manage Sale Order button - open Related BOM SO in new tab so system allocations can be easily modified.
c. Manage Purchase Order Button - open Related BOM PO in new tab in new tab.
4. Export Packlist from 3.a should have mod as below
