I would like a process to capture a staging transaction of a sales order. Our facility has dozens of staging lanes, and we often stage orders before the truck arrives. Currently there is no way to capture that an order has been picked and staged to a certain staging location on the front dock. I'd like to be able to add a transaction in the staging process that would allow an operator to pick and stage the product, assign it a new "Staged" location, then exit the order and do new activities. Have the same or other operator then be able to continue the order once the truck arrives to be loaded and the system direct them to the correct Staged location to then load out the order. There is no visibility on this step currently and it leaves a gap in our operation, orders immediately jump from packed/dispatched and exit from inventory. This creates additional manual functions to track order staging.
