Warehouses often run a two-step picking process: a forklift driver consolidates all stock needed for today's deliveries into a staging area first, then wave picks are generated and pickers pick from that staged area rather than bulk locations.
This first step — figuring out what to pull, telling the driver, moving it to staging — happens manually, outside the system. There's no task generation for the driver, no confirmation step, and no link between "stock is staged" and how wave picks get built.
The proposal is to support this staging step natively, as a tracked part of the picking workflow rather than something run entirely on driver knowledge and manual coordination.
Potential enhancement to Split Pick and Pack Waves.
