We have larger, bulkier orders (drums, pails, IBCs) where a fixed pack station isn't practical. These are currently staged in a bulk staging area and consigned from desktop afterward. Extending scan / pack functionality to mobile would let staff pack SOPs directly onto the transport product at the point of staging, removing the need to relay information back for someone to consign separately.
It would also make it easier to consolidate products onto a single transport product in the mobile application.
