Currently, with the new premium accounting mapping, only the total price from the invoice is sent over to QB for each individual category - there is no rate or quantity sent over. For customer accounting departments who want to confirm rate and quantity against contracted rates, this presents a problem and still requires the invoices to be manually created in Quickbooks. The Excel file does provide this detail, but if sending through QB is not always an option.
Most importantly, this information is crucial for company reports. Sales reports in QB are often displayed as quantity sold as well as revenue. I have attached a screenshot. If only the total revenue for an invoice is brought over, the visibility to quantity is no longer available (which can impact forecasting). It also will skew average price where there are products sold outside of CartonCloud. I believe cartoncloud has the quantity of each product/service stored as well as the rate (given that it comes through in the Excel file) so could it be added as an optional push through for the Accounting connector?
