Ability to assign Purchase Orders (POs), Sales Orders (SOs), and consignments to warehouse locations (designated areas) in the physical warehouse currently represented and warehouse locations in Carton Cloud.
These locations will allow for better tracking of records throughout different stages of their lifecycle and elapsed time in zones. These locations can relate to designated zones:
- Inbound
- Outbound (Processing)
- Outbound (Staging)
- Hold (issue, etc.)
For consignments linked to or created from a Sales Order (SO), the relative location should be assumed from the Sales Order. If the consignment location is updated, the sales order location should be updated.
Currently, once an order has been picked from its location(s), and if pick-to-tote is not being used, its relative location within the warehouse becomes untraceable.
