When scan picking, if an item is short on stock and the picker can only confirm a quantity less than ordered, the revised quantity should update automatically the record on the web app side.
This reduces the need for human intervention and allows for a quicker picking process

Thats not what we were meaning. We asked for - if you are scanning products you are picking that if for someone reason they ask for 4 items but you can only supply 3 so you confirm 3 on the scanner that it updates the order to 3 from 4 on a desktop instead of a user having to go onto a desktop and manually update the order before it can be confirmed.

This is occuring as a result of turning on "Rapid Packing" which batches updates to make the user experience faster. If you turn this off you will have real time updates.
