Your Ideas on improving CartonCloud

Stock Substitution / Reallocation

Currently when using the Mobile app to verify stock using the Serial number on a Purchase Order there is no way of enforcing scanned products to be unique without CartonCloud then also forcing the user to pick a particular POP/SOP based on its Serial number when picking that stock on the outgoing movement.

This causes an issue for manufacturers producing large quantities of products which need to be verified as unique when checked into the warehouse (to avoid incorrect counts) but where the picker needs to be able to select any stock of a particular product type listed on the Sale Order (so they are not forced to choose a box of stock which is inaccessible or inefficient).

Optional Extra to this feature – Reverse Stock Allocation: Allow the picker to choose the stock from any location from the warehouse and update the Sale Order accordingly with the Warehouse Location and POP/SOP information they have chosen (provided the Product matches what is on the Sale Order).

With the most recent app release (Version 5.0.0) when picking a Sale order through the Task Picking option the picker has the ability to scan an alternative Unique reference number, POP Label, Pallet Barcode or Location to select an alternative stock item to pick than what was initially allocated. This will trigger a reallocation process on the order and update the allocated stock to reflect what the picker scanned. Customer and Product level settings are available to control when reallocation is available.
