Lots of our customers don't use expiry dates, they use packed on dates and this causes picking issues as we have to make up dates in the purchase orders and then there is no actual dates to refer to on the items when picking

Is a possibility here to add a POP custom field (Packed On), which you mark as Optional at the customer-level, then enable at the product level for those specific products (Kegs) that use it? (You can also mark expiry date Optioanl for Kegs).
Yes its mainly the kegs that come in with "packed on" instead of expiry
Hello. Are these dates listed on the boxes? This information could be recorded in a Custom Field and then confirmed at the point of picking.
